This is the first painting I did that was not a mural for a restaurant or kids room .
I had not painted for myself since college, and had no clue what to create without the professors telling me a title. Thats how they did it when I was in class. They gave you a title and you came up with the concept, so my friend suggested "Torn" and this is what came out of it. This is one of the first three paintings I created after getting sober. Created out of desparation and fear of "Idle Hands" being the devils workshop, I began to paint, just for myself with no intention of showing or selling.
