The octopus featured in this series represents the wild and untamed side that exists within all of us. Some of us were "free range kids," left to navigate our own way through childhood with little guidance. I, myself, had to learn how to cope at a young age. It's easy to get distracted by shiny things and miss the fact that our feral child is running rampant, causing harm to ourselves and others.
