IN the past the octopus  has symbolized the rash , abusive part of our psyche. A lot of the responsibility for everything that is bad in life has been focused on  this  poor fellow . Recently and in small flashes of consciousness I've been able to  have more compassion for this part of me , likening it to a inner feral child .  Blame can not be put on a child that has had no guardrails no examples of right and wrong no guidance . Now that innerself  is given that guidance  and compassion that is needed , It is aloud to come out of the dark and play
